A simple solution to a challenging brief, the original offices were two separate structures with high pitched roofs, the only luck we had was that the two existing offices share a common wall line with a 7.0m gap between.
My solutions was to join the two by extending the smaller block back to the second building, by removing the existing high pitched roof’s and replacing this with a trussed roof. The new roof gave enough space to accommodate mechanical plant and distribute this out to the individual offices.
